Where to buy online from Germany

I wonder where to get white sliced factory-made bread in Germany? Malted wheat grain sliced square loaf in practical hygienic plastic wrapping. German bakeries do not offer this delicacy and I wonder if any of you here know how to order this online.

You can order online with FoodFromHome.

Buy yourself a bread maker.

It's cheaper, tastes better and you can make bread exactly as you wish.

Have you tried "Toast"? It's sliced white bread here, for toasting. Only it's not that soft as say... Sasko Sam, but it looks like a loaf of ...well, white bread. And it taste just fine.

You can buy it at Walmart or Real.

Yeah, I'm gonna say the supermarket. Been buying pretty normal white sliced bread for about 7 or 8 years now. I normally favour the wholegrain sliced, but regular white works too.

I'm confused. You appear to be German living in Ireland. Why do you want to know how to buy white sliced bread in Germany?

I'm confused too. smile.gif

Most Edeka and Tengelmann supermarkets have sliced white or sliced wholemeal bread.

No reason to get confused. I just can't do without it. I sometimes have to go to Germany to visit Mum and Dad.

Tengelmann now sells a "sandwich" bread that is light and fluffy, but the whole wheat one is far fluffier than the white one. It is not the Müller one but a new one.

Aldi !!

Why not just bring it with you when you come visit?? I take my Gluten Free bread (unopened store package is ok for customs) where ever I go and have never had a problem, then I dont have to search when I get somewhere.

The best bread I have found here so far is the Golden Toast American Sandwich Bread think sliced. You can get it from Walmart, and its almost as good as a normal loaf of bread in the UK/Australia. For me, its quite acceptable.

I have a bread maker too, but the bread that comes out of it is not suitable for sandwiches really.. great for rolls though, and it tastes very good..

Like Eurovol said, that Müller crap is terrible. Its like white bread that has sat on the counter for 2 months..
