I love apfelschorle, I drank it constantly while visiting Munich, I took 3 bottles back on the return journey intending to drink them once I got home, I'd finished them before I even reached Calais

I was going to start a thread about this topic as I wanted to know the proportions of apple juice to mineral water, but I just read that it's roughly 50/50.

I'll be stopping at a supermarket tonight to make my own, I wish we could buy it in Scotland

I saw the Krauter today whilst grabbing a leberkase semmel for lunch. On your rec. I picked it up. I could barely get my daughter to share it with me, and she usually just takes a few sips of my apfelschorle ("because it has too many bubbles"). It was in the refrigerated case by the checkout at Rewe on Hohenzollernstrasse.

So basically you mix apple juice with mineral water or seltzer and you have Apferschorle. I do this with Orange Juice but the only good Orange juice is in America.

Leberkase, that is some NASTY SHIT. How the hell could you eat that???
