And don't forget the bit :

The antioxidants, called polyphenols, are also found in red wine, berries and dark chocolate.

I used to prefer the clear Apfelschorle purely for aesthetic reasons, but now this is one of the few points on which I agree with Editor Bob - cloudy tastes better smile.gif

Although those funky clumpy bits at the bottom still sometimes freak me out.

i have never seen almdudler in munich ... edit: maybe i haven't looked properly...

Moni, think RückZuck on the Landshuter Allee near Schlörstr. sells it and may have the Kräuter-Apfel? OSA's Alpenraum, a coffee bar in an architects' office on Frundsbergstr. sells it as single bottles. That's two places near you.

GG, Tenglemann Online will deliver Adelholzener Apfel or Rote Schorle all the way up your stairs for only 5€ extra total per order with next day delivery. No Kräuter-Apfel sadly.

Really? Awesome! Now if only I could get The Observer delivered to my door as well, I'd never have to leave home ever again!

I love apfelschorle, I drank it constantly while visiting Munich, I took 3 bottles back on the return journey intending to drink them once I got home, I'd finished them before I even reached Calais biggrin.gif

I was going to start a thread about this topic as I wanted to know the proportions of apple juice to mineral water, but I just read that it's roughly 50/50.

I'll be stopping at a supermarket tonight to make my own, I wish we could buy it in Scotland sad.gif

I'm particularly keen on the Kräuter Apfel...but if you want to try them be forewarned: they're not particularly easy to find.

I saw the Krauter today whilst grabbing a leberkase semmel for lunch. On your rec. I picked it up. I could barely get my daughter to share it with me, and she usually just takes a few sips of my apfelschorle ("because it has too many bubbles"). It was in the refrigerated case by the checkout at Rewe on Hohenzollernstrasse.

So basically you mix apple juice with mineral water or seltzer and you have Apferschorle. I do this with Orange Juice but the only good Orange juice is in America.

Leberkase, that is some NASTY SHIT. How the hell could you eat that???

Some people told me sitting in a sauna is a great way to slim down, might have some truth to it, I have been noticing that I lost a bit of weight as of late.
