Thanks

What is the fault?

If it starts then slows down then stops, this is usually dust build up within the bushes.. if it miss chimes or the timing is incorrect or irratic then this is usually a worn out gear or Pawl.

I am assuming that it is a mechanical clock...

If not, try changing the battery laugh.gif

The problem is not with the movement. The screw/nut which holds the minute hand in place is lost.

Not sure about prices but I looked into this issue back in December. Max Krug by Karlsplatz repairs cuckoo clocks.

They appear to be fairly reliable, but may be expensive. Let me know how it goes as I have one in need of repair also!
