Since I got my iPod, I've been digging out old favorites. Forgot how good this one was!

I have been blasting The Russian Futurists all morning. This guy kicks-ass. Kind of like dreamy indie-electro-pop. A mix of They Might be Giants and Postal Service. He is a one-man bedroom recording artist.

Explosions In The Sky - All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone (ARC)

Very different to the other 5 albums, much more percussive and angular and definitely exhibits a darker more menacing side to their patented melancholy. Although they seem to be recycling some passages from the first album, most apparent on "Catastrophe And The Cure". But the Four Tet remix makes up for it.

I'm playing a wonderful track called Nobody Loves Me But You by Dori Hartley from her 1996 album Blue Djinn.
It's a fantastic number. Hartley was the original Frank-N-Furter impersonator during the crowd participation portion of the midnight screenings of Rocky Horror Picture Show at New York City's Waverly Theater.
The woman is incredible.
