I can't wait for this to come out, Kevin Smith is responsible for some of THE funniest films over the last 12 years or so. Anyway,
here is his website, he often writes short stories there as well. Well worth a look..

I am pretty sad when it comes to his films, for example I know that Jay is wearing a Berzerker tee-shirt in Jay and Silent Bob strike back which is direct reference to the song that Olaf sung in Clerks

From Zach Braff's blog, he interview Kevin Smith for his MySpace profile.
QUOTE
I just got back from interviewing Kevin Smith for this MySpace video feature on "Clerks 2". He is such a cool guy. They were out of tape and we just kept on talking. We have a lot in common, most importantly loving movies, being grateful for the opportunity to make them and truly, genuinely appreciating our fans. Kevin told me he spends 1/3 of his life online. I don't think I can come close to competing with that, but I really do enjoy exploring the net. I like watching strange videos on youtube.com and I'm gonna start getting into myspace. There are many fake profiles of me on there, so I figure it's about time to assemble a real one. I met a nice guy from myspace today who told me he's gonna help me erase all of my impostors. Talk about someone with too much time on their hands. Kevin is cool cause he's had tons of success, but he's still a really down to Earth regular dude. No entourage or handlers, just rolls up in his car alone. It is hard in this business to... sorry: "Keep it real." And he definitely does.

(at zb of course not ks). Can't wait to see the interview.

Good u took it the right way , personality matters but fuck it it's nice to have something good to look at.
I heard a few interviews with Clooney and Pitt , I can see why women get wet - hey even if they can't get it up and juice up to look like a swimmer (Troy) I'll laugh my tits off and have a story to tell the other broads.

Looks are important but are no replacement for performance or humour.
Still, If I could get a hold of Uma Thurman I would gladly laugh at my own jokes.

I saw this movie yesterday

and it was everything that I expected. Hillarious and sick, perfect. I was trying not to laugh too hard so I wouldn't miss the rest of the dialog. It has a few cheesy moments, but just a few. I might go see it again
Make sure you stay til the end of the credits and read some of the Acknowledgments.

Saw this recently as well... mixed feelings.
If you are looking for anything in the direction of intriguing plot or even the slightest tinge of character development, remember that this is Kevin Smith and just stay at home. But his genius witty banter prevails (anyone who saw it-- "Pillow Pants"?! I almost died

), and combined with the occasional references to the original, it was worth my $8. No necrophilia in this one, but there's a bit with a donkey.
I second Clepto, stick it out through the credits. Any word on when it hits theaters there??

Hmm...I loved the original Clerks...Clerks II was funny, but I'm thinking much more forgetable than the first. I enjoyed it, I just don't think I'll remember it long. (well, except the donkey maybe)

I agree with luckwad, I will remember "Pillow Pants" for a long long time. One of the funniest things I've heard in a long time. And we are using it among my friends already (the term, not the actual thing

)
I hope this is legal
For those who can't wait for the movie to come out, here a scene, enjoy!
PorchMonkeyAlso, I think Jeff Anderson is hillarious and I really like his acting, but especially in Clerks II, I thought Brian O'Halloran's acting was aweful.

Does anyone know when this movie is due to be released in Germany? Or if Cinema München is possibly planning a sneak preview in the near future? Preferably
this year...
I'm a big fan of Kevin Smith and the Jay & Silent Bob movies...and I'm sure I'm not the only one..
I checked on
imdb and it has no release dates listed for Germany, so does anyone know anything?
