What sarabyrd is writting it seems like he's gonna go to the US, live with his family, analyse what happened, work on new ideas and methods on his own (a break from the pressure) while Löw is training the boys back here in Germany... to me, that sounds like he is more likely gonna be back in about a year or something...
I was more or less summarizing and translating his answers. IMO he will hardly come back, he's soaked up too much California feeling to move back, and his wife seems not to like Germany. I wonder why ...

It's a great way to go. He waited until some of his harshist critics gave him their full support and then turned around and kicked them squarely in the teeth. Nice one Jurgen

I'm with you there. Maybe it'll teach some of those in the DFB to keep their criticisms to themselves until after results are gained (or not)

Indeed. Where was the DFB when the Bayern Munich idiots... sorry... management attacked him continually? Ah yes, the FCB idiots form part of the DFB... Hmmm... Something not quite right there methinks...

He wasn't going to hang around to get dissed again when Germany doesn't manage to beat San Marino 11:0 in a qualifier. He is basking in the admiration and adoration of the fans now and basically blowing a raspberry in the DFB's collective face.

Well, the Klinsmann haters who turned into Klinsmann lovers have been converted again. They are saying that this was exactly what they were expecting from him - abandoning his country like that... You've gotta love dem Tschermens
Is there some sort of expat award? It should go to Klinsi's wife then. Ok, so she didn't technically live here but what the hell, they got a good dose of German welcome. You think peeps stared at her on the subway? Criticised her children's behaviour? Hows about a ticket for crossing bei rot? That wouldve been class.

It's international Crawlie, the gene that goes fron complaining to arselicking to complaining again is probably present in every national football association.
None of these people want to admit that they made a mistake. They tried covering their arses when Klinsmann was picked, then they tried to claim that they had always believed inand supported him when he was sucessfull and now they want to claim that they saw his "betrayal" coming.

At the end of the day. How can Klinsmann carry on when he has so many people just sitting there, waiting for him slip up so they can crawl out of their holes and give that famous "Told you so" speech. Sepp Maier, Rummenigge et all were extraordinarily quiet during the world cup but now they will all come out and tell us all about Klinsmann's lack of character, respect and spine blahblahblah...

i doubt it. all those young people on the leopoldstrasse cheering for their team were not even born when s maier or rummenigge were active players and therefore their comments don't really effect those fans.

According to Zwanziger none of the players is resigning. Lessee what Bierhoff (who trained as an opera singer and does shampoo ads) has to say.
He calls the team confident, ambitious and hungry. He knows that Löw - who was always more than "just" an assistant - will do the job right, the team is young and still has room for improvement. He's listing Löw's
acheivements in the past as head coach and saying that his methods guarantee the standard that Klinsmann set up.
The team is behind Löw, saying if they can't have Klinsmann they want him.
He, Mr Löw, doesn't appear to have stayed anywhere much longer than 2 years in one position at club level; with Klinsmann gone he is open to attack as soon as the team's football becomes less exiting than it was during the WM, is he not?

He'll probably only stay till the end of the European championship, unless Germany have a really bad qualifying, in which case, he might be forced to leave a little earlier !

Hey, at least it's not
Matthäus - he's on his 6th station in 5 years! Remember how he was shouting "Pick me! Me, me! Pick me!" when Völler stepped down? Like Donkey in Shrek I, disgraceful.

Surprised he hasn't poked his oar in in this particular matter. Or have I missed something recently? Beckenbauer's favourite son isn't he?
The knives will be out for Löw as soon as he doesn't beat Cyprus or San Mario by 3 or 4 clear goals. He is too nice to be a BT!
