Relocation and shipping to Thailand from Germany

I will be moving to Thailand in the next 3-4 months.

Does anyone have any experience, or know anyone with any experience, of moving all ones goods and possessions out there.

I have had some quotes, but suspect that there are a lot of good hints about things to watch out for, and some companies being good at this sort of thing, and other not being that err... good.

Any advice welcome.

Hey there! Good luck with your move to Thailand. I have no specific advice for moving there, but am selling a shipping crate with which you could ship all your stuff. It's big enough for about two rooms worth of furniture and is 200 euros. I also have some info on the company we used here to get it to the port (for shipping) and some customs contacts.
