Word on the street has it that the first ever extreme ironing world championships are coming to Munich this weekend (21st Sept 2002).
Extreme ironing is the latest danger sport to come out of England. It combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well pressed shirt. Apparently.

I've yet to figure out whether this is for real or just an elaborate hoax. Whatever. I'm planning to take a couple of pairs of my undercrackers down to the competition on Saturday. Ironing those should provide a fairly extreme experience.
