A dead-simple, standard burger recipe. Teriyaki adds a great flavor to grilled burgers.
Teriyaki Burgers
1 bottle of Teriyaki sauce
500 grams ground beef (rinderhackfleisch)
1/2 white onion, chopped
1 box of potato flour (kartoffelmehl)
2 small eggs
Mix onion pieces with beef in large bowl. Dash in teriyaki sauce liberally (can be found in any large store in Munich). Break eggs into the bowl and mix with the beef. You now have a slimy mess that doesn't hold. Therefore, sprinkle large doses of potato flour into the bowl, and mix into the beef, until you've got a mass which you can shape pretty easily, isn't slimy, and holds it's shape pretty well. Store this in fridge until time to grill.
When grilling (bring along some potato flour in case you need it to help shape the burgers): sprinkle lots of teriyaki sauce on the burgers. Makes them very flavorful!
This makes 5 large, or 8 small burgers.
