Not up for an arguement
But can anyone tell me why it is so Quiet on the forum over the weekend?
Either you all have split lives; one for the weekend and one for the week..
OR you are using company time and company internet.
I thought this would be a sackable offence!!

Well must say for me it depends on how things are going at work.
Although must say weekends not all have internet access, so that will probably answer the question.

these current weekends are football tastic, add onto that the normal friday night sessions, and I reckon weekends can be pretty dead online.

Because people use the internet at work.

So, Big C gets the drift...
Who would get sacked IF they are caught browsing forums in works time..
Come on... HOLD YOUR HANDS HIGH!!!

Sacked??? Not a chance! For wasting company time?
Forum chatting is much more creative than a lot of the stuff I do at work!

Hmm, having 120 hours of (unpaid) overtime on my tab, I think 10 minutes spent relaxing each day is fair enough.
I also don't smoke... in my last jobs some colleagues were beating an hour a day just smoking! So a little break is allowed.
And my browser is open all day anyway for work. So no, I don't think twice about it.

yeh,
i don't have access at the weekend, and to be honest i prefer to spend my freetime as far away from computers as possible...
as for toytowning at work, i don't take ciggie breaks or spend 30 mins in every two hours standing by the coffee machine, so i feel entitled to a couple of minutes distraction every now and then...

When 75-90% of people aren't posting it kind of takes the wind out of the sails for everyone else who still turn to TT on the weekend, like myself. I find it quite boring since I usually respond to other peoples' posts rather than just start my own topics, and therefore I don't post much on the weekend either.
I do all my TT browsing, posting from home, and they don't even have computers where I work (Email you tomorrow's schedule? What's email?) so it would be impossible for me to waste company time.
