krupp makes excellent kitchen appliances. i have a verra old espresso machine (works better than the new one from them) & a ferrari-like electric tea kettle! pricey, but gooooood.

Can it be that they sometime have 2 brands on 20% off program? I was there yesterday and saw one poster "today 20% on Rowenta" and another "today 20% on Krupp". As I was there just 10 min before they close so I thought the 20% on Rowenta will be the program for today but seems like it's not

OK so this is some bloody secret! I called the store to find out what else would be on sale when, no answer, so got me boss to call up and he spoke to the GM in charge of customer query or somesuch. he said he cannot divulge it but promised to ring us up every day to tell us whats on sale.
also (was hoping for pioneer) if pioneer comes on sale he said we need to just tell him the model number of the product we want and he will find out which stores are carrying it and reserve it, we have to pick up within 3 days then

Yeah, I thought I had posted something about that... I called in to the store last week and asked the customer service person if they had a list of the sales but they told me that the brand or items on sale would only be announced on the day they went on sale. So iasked if she knew whether there would be a casio or cannon sale but they couldn't tell me that either.

The brand on sale today is Philips.

why don't you go the Isartor camera shop?? you can get more than 20% for the compact class cameras!

Don't give up hope yet. There are 20 days of sales and we have only had 10 days of them (not sure if Saturday was a sale as well, if so make that 11 days of sales.)

Isartor camera shop? If you mean "Sauter" there's a very good reason that everyone calls them "Sauteuer". A shop around the corner from them has good prices but only serves professionals. You can go in and buy something but if you ask an amateur question they'll throw you out. They're also only open from 9-5.

The reason some of us want Canon isn't the cameras themselves (and there's no way they'd give 20% off a 1DS Mk2 if they carried it); it's for the accessories: lenses, cords, printers, ink.

I would tell you to look at netonnet.de for Canon products (other than lenses and such) before waiting for a Saturn sale.

not every products of offered brand are 20% off, for example yesterday you couldn't get discount for some TV models. And items you want to buy have to be in stock of that branch, the best is, call and ask, if you know what model you want.

I mean "Nuerbauer" in Isartor, and the compact is Ixus. I was passing by a couple of days ago, and they had a high-end Ixus for 100 Euro off price.

nuerbauer also had an extra in the SZ last week advertising ixus800 is for 396 EUR and ixus 60 for 266 EUR. i like their offer on 5 prints (20x30) for 5 EUR.

Their printers are pretty nifty.

Their cameras are doing pretty well as well thanks to a nifty feature which allows you to automatically "slim" people in photos using a digital effect.
