As it typical in the summer, MVV like to mess around with the trams to do some work.

So from July 5th, there will be no 18 or N17 tram going east from Sendlingor Tor.

There are replacement buses in place. Full details are available on the MVV site here

All should be back to normal by the 13th September.

So anyone affected by this today?

Certainly the traffic at Max Weber platz seems a bit bad as I cam through on the #19 tram.

I rarely go "east of the river" - those 81xxx postcodes are SO common - so couldn't give a monkey's! tongue.gif

But it does make sense, there is less traffic in the summer months and there's a ban on works during the Wies'n and the winter is too cold.

My tram moan will come though when they cut back the good old 27 in December from 7.5 to a 10 minute frequency east of Sendlinger Tor! sad.gif

Haidhausen
OK OK, Haidhausen maybe makes the grade (and also the Au) but only cos you dash over the river to lovely 80469!

Grünwald

Bunch of Parvenus, aging German B-Grade TV stars who make their money selling dodgy face creams on shopping channels, no real class sweetie !

Solln

Lived there when I was a peniless dishwasher so it can't be THAT posh! Boring as hell, so much that I was forced to CHOOSE to go to overpriced Irish Pubs in Schwabing! blink.gif
Showem
Solln is west of the Isar anyways.
grtho
Aye, Showem but some of the hick parts of Munich west of the Isar have 81 postcodes too: Pasing, Aubing, Solln etc
