Italy v. Ukraine - final score 3:0

Perhaps slightly anticlimatic after the Germany win, but I'm interested to see who their opponent will be, and more importantly, how they play tonight.

I just hope that the faking Italians do not win.

It's ironic that Spain strolled to a 4-0 win over the Ukraine in their first match but the latter are already a round further. So they'll probably try the same trick as last time: 0-0 and hope on the penalties. Which I too hope they win.

Italy versus Germany just might show the world what cheats they are and although Germany has Ballack, I think Italy can cheat better and get away with it more so go Italy.

I was but then I found some navel fluff I had to get sorted. I was well gutted though. Due to the extra time and penalties, ESPN had to cancel there live transmission of the US Paintball Championships... What a country

I dunno this must be a fix, the referee has been bought. He's not doing anything to stop those players kicking the ball aroud. This wouldn't happen in America! What will I ever say to my children?

I watched the German game in the Italian place across the street with my kids - and cleared out for this game. Now that Germany has won (and I'm wagering that Italy will) It's going to be an all night party tonight! (And I'm on kiddo duty - oh well, my kids are more fun than a bunch of drunken italians, aren't they??)
