He can't exist without them and he can't kill them.
What are you guys talking about?
He didn't kill anyone (although he THOUGHT at first that he did - and even than it was the "black suit SM").
He didn't kill the goblin but the "bad spider man" (his colleague) did (and the Goblin offered him self to save SM).
All in all, I didn't think the movie was that bad.
And I am glad I saw it at the cinema, because you loose the effect of the nice 3D action shots (and there was quite some of them, like when the goblin attacks SM the first time) on the small screen.
Its definitively not an Oscar candidate, but its worth the money for the ticket.
Its true, it could have been SO much better, but still, it was better than the previous two, specially because it was (trying) to be a movie for grounups as well.
The first two were totally for kids, totally comics like, two dimensional - black-white, good-bad, good wins.
Here they changed the theme, the comics settings was just a background to various themes the movie was trying to tackle.
All though "good and bad" are still quite prominent, there are much more gray areas on the parts of all characters (well, not SM's aunty).
This Spider Man is a bit like "Batman begins" in a way, with what they tried to do.
I agree, they should have tone down on the relationships thing, instead, they should have marked less aspects and go deeper on them.
Never the less - this movie is more layered than the previous ones, and I find it better.
Its a nice summer movie, that will be fast forgotten, but for going out for a nice evening, its OK.
