Automotive industry - contacts for finding work

hi,

I'm just wondering if we have anyone here who's working in these areas. i.e. Maybe within BMW, Audi or one of their satellite companies. I have 5 years experience specialising in this area as a software / systems engineer and will be looking for a new contract soon. I have previously worked on projects for DENSO and BOSCH supplying FORD/PAG and BMW. Please feel free to post if you have any ideas, contacts for agencies etc..

Fun stuff, im wrestling with a CAN-MOST-FlexRay gateway right now.
A couple of companies that do a lot of consultancy work in that area in munich are ESG and ISS+C
Could be worth sending in a CV.

There are a lot of system integrators around Munich because of BMW, but you probably knew that already. Alpine, Bosch SVDO are all nearby, and Harman Becker are down near Stuttgart and have a large site that seems to do a lot of engineering/manufacturing. I don't know very many people at these places and exactly how much engineering work actually goes on, but could dig out addresses for you if you want.

EDIT: sorry if it wasn't clear, but these companies make the navigation/audio systems for BMW etc
