Parental letter to excuse a child from school

Could anybody help me with a short translation?

" My son ... will not continue atendind to the St michael Kindergarten from 30.06.06

your kid's dropping out of kindergarten? (the letter as formulated indicates that he won't be coming back!)

Usually, you need to give much more notice than that. I've heard anything between 4 weeks and 3 months so you might have to continue paying fees.

Well, if you are leaving this place forever put it this short, its valid. Make sure you add the date you wrote it. But if you leave them friendly because he´s going to school next door or a sibling is still there or whatever else add a few more words explanation. This one sounds a bit rough to me.

I discuss several times there about some problems, so now we change to a different school in a different area,
