Okay, so having been to the Arc on Thursday night and seeing the amazing game the Socceross played against Croatia, I've decided it's about time I supported my country!
So ... yesterday I went looking for some Aussie flags, Aussie T shirts etc. Nowhere to be found!
Does anyone know where I can get some DECENT stuff?
Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!

Yup ... There's a fifa supporters tent at Olympic Park for the official stuff and a little tent in front of it for the cooler stuff ... more shirts, boardies, caps, things etc
C'MON AUSTRALIA!

Isn't there an Aussie store on Dachauer Strasse just up from Stiglmeier Platz?

The day before the Brazil match, "This and That" in Leopoldstr. were selling Aussie flags, t-shirts, flag "tatoos", etc. Not sure if they are still selling them though.

I tried to find a decent sized Aussie flag on Thursday. Went to all the usual department stores and all sorts of sports equipment shops, fan shops on Marienplatz etc. They were all totally sold out on Aussie gear except for scarves ... not in this weather, thank you

. I'll have to give it another go on Monday. I was told by a friendly person wearing an Aussie jersey at Sport Münziger they may have new stuff in stock soon. If not, I'll have to frantically wave the tiny flag I bought in 1983, with its newly aquired beer stains and burn holes.
GO SOCCEROOS!
You do me proud!

The tip about OEZ was a good one - there were plenty of caps, funny peasant-style hats, scarves, 2 T shirts and 1 big flag. Well, you can strike the big flag off the list because I bought it!
The Aussie shop on Dachauerstr. is also a good idea, but perhaps a little pricey.

I'd be really keen on getting a team jersey...preferably the away one (navy blue), best bet for that? I've been to a couple of Karstadt sports, but they dont seem to have the aussie jerseys...also would prefer the numbered jerseys (namely a No. 4 Cahill one!)..they cost around 75 EUR right?

As far as I know you can only get the home shirt in the shops here in Munich. It looks like you can only order the away shirt online.

Sport Schuster had some Nike Aussie tops last week (opposite Kaufhof, Marienplatz). They are not the original versions, as they had sold out, but still green and gold. This and That has small flags. Kaufhof had blue, red and white scarves with Australia printed on them.
If all else fails - paint your face!!!
