Anyone know where I can hire (or borrow )a medium sized van for a few hours on Saturday? I've tried all the usuals like Europcar, Avis, Budget, etc. but they have no vans anywhere in the Stuttgart area. Seems a lot of people are moving a lot of stuff this weekend - despite the Germany game!

Stuttgart seems to be vanless!

nothing to do with your problem, sorry, but I couldn't help thinking of Christy Moore's song 'Joxer goes to Stuttgart' ... it's got vans in it too, and football - ahem.

I got a pretty good deal with Swing, can´t remember the address or tel. No. though.
maybe try some of the outposts. Sindelfingen Böblingen or even Leonberg. You may have better chances there.
Depending on where you are of course. perhaps even ludwigsburg. Surely Europcar ca tell you where there is a van available !!
