I'll be in that neck of the woods tonight as it happens, so might stroll over to Wassermann - but it'll be late, 11:00 - 11:30-ish, I guess. Any chance any of you will still be there? I suppose it's a fair bet Lurker Mark will manifest himself at some point for the usual midnight curry. But don't hang around waiting for me to show up if you're ready for off.
"Wall Street" - isn't that a language school? 'Ow about they gives us some stock tips an' we gives them some tips on 'ow ter tawk proper English like? That'll flummox 'em!

Hello all,
This Friday we are in the
"Der Pschorr" on the end of the Schrannenhalle at the
Viktualienmarkt from 19:00
I booked a large table on the balcony, go in the front door and up the stairs, all the way round and out the door at the back, we will actually be in the Scheannenhalle its self, on the balcony overlooking the hall.
For those of you who have not yet been to the Der Pschorr or the Schrannenhalle, the Der Pschorr is like a respectable beer hall, connected to the Schrannenhalle. Which is a type of indoor market with various food stalls and some culture thrown in! (But not too much!), often including live music or a DJ later.
We have tables booked in the name of "Johnny English"
Here is a google maps image of the
Schrannenhalle, Der Pschorr is the building on the end in the middle of the view.
If you need instructions call my mobile number below.
See you there,

I went there last week after the wasserman, the DJ was good and the music got gradually heavier as the night went on, we left at 3.
I don't know where else you can get good food, music, tabels with waitress service and dancing till the early hours without feeling shut in a light box with 20 chain-smokers with headphones on on full blast. (either I'm getting old or everyone else is getting daft, I favour the daft option personally)

Everyone is welcome to come along. Newbies too! Ask the waiter for Duffman or just turn up at the tall tables and ask for Ian, or call me.

Note that
Escobar has Happy Hour until 21:00, and again from midnight onwards - all cocktails for EUR 4.50. And they're good! Also - according to their web site - nachos and dips for free until 21:00. This has got to be one of my favourite bars.
@madgibson: Yeah, this is turning out to be a pretty demanding week!

We go drinking on a Friday, we talk to strangers, some are native German speakers who also speak English, some are Native English speakers and some are foreigners who can also speak English, e.g. Scottish
