Looks like, well, wanky...?
Bobolovsky's used to have good Schnitzels and Burgers at cheap prices, hope it's still like this.

Hello my ducks!
The Friday beergarden is at
Café PUCK, 7pm. What is in Türkenstr. 33 Schwabing
I have booked loads of space under the name “Arnold J. Rimmer for some odd reason. (Those in the know will have to do the salute!)
They have a
happy hour and they also have a free
Wifi Hotspot apparently.
Hmm. I can't think of a funny remark to make about the Hotspot!
Call my number if you dont know any of us when you get there, and are hanging around feeling lost.
Billy don't you lose my number! <laughs at own musical inability>

It says "beer garden" in the title too, but that's not necessarily true either.
Don't mind me, I'm just pissed off at the weather.

I blame the moderators about the Month! Oh yes! It is today. October 5th.
I could have confused the times though! It will be from 19:00.
And the title should have read Pedants beergarden too!

Thanks invisible mods! Were back in October again. Doesn't time fly. After the Wiesn is over we're counting down to Christmas.
Lost Property!
Someone left a raincoat in the Cafe Puck on Friday. If anyone knows who it belongs to, tell to come join the bidding! As its a nice coat it will go quickly for a good price!
How much am I bid? 50? 60? 1 euro?
And if you can describe the coat, you get to go through to the forgotten wallet round!

Hello everyone,
Anyone fancy a beer on Friday?
My guess is that the answer coming from most of you is yes.
I have reserved lots of spaces at the Scheidegger, Bauerstr. 16.
Come along and blow way those post Oktober fest blues.
There are lots of ways to get there,
Hohenzollernplatz Ubahn is probably the most convienient
I booked for 7pm, a few of us will probably turn up early. I’m aiming for 6pm.
Here is a map:

The place is small enough and our group is quite big. Just walk up and say "Toytown?" And everyone will stare at you in silence. Until one says: "I sink you vont zem" pointing to us. Who, at this stage, despite being on the look out for lost newbies, will not have noticed the "sink" business as were all too busy nattering away.

Dear Winterised beer-gardening types,
Friday is forecast to be 13°, consequently we have opted for one of those warm cosy Bavarian lokals.
The
Weisses Brauhaus is a stones throw from Marien Platz, Here’s how
Google sees it; the picture makes me feel like I’m hanging upside down out of a balloon.
The table is booked for
7pm in the name of
Johnny English, call Gwyn(0173 3510658) or Ian(0172 8227752) if you need directions.
We will be sitting upstairs in the non-smoking area. There is usually a wench at the top of the stairs with an appointments book happy to show you to our table.
This place is one of our favourites, famous for their Goose with Blaukraut and Japanese tourists. Pay special attention to the vegetarian section on the menu.

See you there,

Mmm, Goose with Blaukraut and Japanese tourists - is that like some kind of Bavarian sushi? Yes, it could work - mince up the meat finely, wrap in Blaukraut leaves, and serve with a bit of goose on the side.
Dunno though - think the veggie menu might be a safer option.

This place is absolutely fantastic if you really like eating animal parts! They make meals out of just about every bit, from brains to feet. Their liver with onions and mushrooms is superb! (On the menu it says onions
or mushrooms, but if you ask nicely you can have both). If the trains are running tomorrow, I will be there!
MadAxeMurderer

And I can assure their vegetarian meal is pretty damn tasty. Its not a throw a salad at the fucking vegie
and last time I was there I had an argument with the waitress. She claimed I'd had one less beer than I thought I had. But we resolved it in the end.

Isn't Johnny English the name of a Toytowner? Will he object? Will Rowan Atkinson object?
I actually know the
real Rowan Atkinson!
Well,.. I crossed the road at the same time as him in Oxford once.
We were going into the Natwest bank. He was doing Barclaycard adverts at that time.

Any one who names himself after a Prophylactic should not be asked for an opinion, this goes for French towns and vegetables grown in a rude and amusing shape.

Actually, no, forget the English menu, the veggie menu, and the animal body parts menu - I want to know what else they've got on the Cannibal menu.

That's a little complicated cos they can't just say "Ancle of Newzeeland Tourist". BUT if you see "Brain" with no reference to the type of animal for example you have to wonder why?

Did you know that they upgraded the
Toytown Calendar about a year ago so that it automatically displays any upcoming event. Just the date and time has to be in the right layout in the title.
Long term Toytowners gave up on the old calendar a long time ago, and may not have noticed the change. It provides a pretty reliable "
whats on tonight" for those at a loose end.
It also reduces the need to
bump a thread. (Did I say
bump?)

Hi dudes
This week, the
Wassermann in
Neuhausen from
19:00 on
FridayThe tables are booked in the name
"Mister Flibble, King of the potato people"Its a popular place, but anyone new to it can check out the cocktails and stuff on:
Wassermann Link Happy hour til 20:00!
Question. Who is Mister Flibble?
a) Someone I just made up and made the waiter spell it when I booked.
b) A childrens 60's TV hit puppet series
c) A Puppet from a cult sci-fi hit comedy TV series
d) Uncle Arnies mate <nasal yorkshire accent>
e) What the smeg is Ian going on about this time?
To find us, ask the waiter for Mister Flibble. Or call me 0172 8227752. Or wander up to random tables and ask. But I warn you, "Wall Street" have booked also for 20 at the same time. Coincidence or what? So if you end up sitting with them instead of us, good luck. They might give you some stock tips and end up becoming a millionaire!
