Well thanks to Jeeves, however it doesn't help me, I still don't know how to get it done. I can see that Foxie (If you know the programme you'll know what this means) and me are going to have to discuss this tomorrow. The problem is I may not remember after several of Munichs finest.

We'll be at the Michaeligarten from 18:00 on Friday. Famous for its lake and late evening sun. Some might get there earlier!!

Incidentally its dead quick to get to as its only 12 mins from the Hauptbahnhof on the U-bahn to the stop Michaelibad. Much quicker than the Chinese Tower for example.

We'll have the famous orange flag up again. But to accurately locate us zoom in on the Google Maps link Alternatively, walk along as far as the kids play area and then walk towards the lake. If possible we'll be on the darker wood tables fixed into the ground.

As usual, absolutely everone is welcome, especially newcomers. At the Augustiner the other week we had at least 5 tables of people until I lost count. (Or consciousness!)

The Michaeligarten is a bit lesser known, probably because it's smack dab in the middle of a less fashionable neighborhood, but it's actually one of the prettiest, with a rose garden, gorgeous old trees, nice tables, and a lake full of huge fish, ducks, geese and swans and remote controlled model ships. But don't tell anyone, or the trendies will show up, and they might be tempted to pack the tables uncomfortably close to jam people in, like they do at the Augustiner.
I'll be there early-ish, I hope.

Old trees! Dammit lady, you just made me feel ancient, I remember them planting those very trees when I lived at the corner of Feichtstrasse and Heinrich-Wieland-Strasse (1987 - 1992) in a house now torn down and replaced with a monstrosity. Have a good time and make sure that your chicken is fresh, I got food poisoning at Michaeligarten in 1989.

I've never been there, so I'm looking forward to this. I reckon I'll be there between 5 and 5:30, depends how quickly I get bored at work!
