I wouldn't call it *that* easy to get to... I've then gotta travel 20 minutes back into town then 20 minutes back home... (otherwise I would have come!
The reason why we posted the travel time on the original post was to let people know that the travel time is not much longer than to other popular beergardens. As often they will make that mistake. On
MVV it will take
about the same time to get to the Maxhof from
Pasing than the
Seehaus or the
Chinese Tower. People rarely complain about those.
-Pasing to Furstenried West 30mins + 3 min walk
-Pasing to
Muenchner Freiheit 25mins + 10 min walk (Other routes have a similar total time)

There are so many Biergärten in and around the centre of Munich, why not more central? You may get a better turn-out then...
We dont wish to keep returning to the same places all the time either. People have made that quite clear to us on the thread recently. Also, up to Thursday, the weather forecast included
rain. So we needed a biergarten with a
good indoor option. That reduces the number of viable beergardens in the city centre considerably. Especially as we have been to some of them recently too.
So you see its quite difficult to balance all of the factors of variety, quick to get to, and guessing the weather well in advance.
We will certainly be visiting all of the
central beergardens in the next few weeks. Especially if the weather is a dead cert. And we can certainly come out in the direction of Pasing if you can recommend something new for us. It wont be long before we're back at the
Hirschgarten either.
