This place is about 500m from the first apartment I had when I came to Munich, I wonder if I've ever been in it before? Don't remember it but then again I don't remember a lot of things!

I wish these meet ups weren't always so late. Living a bit outside of Munich means either hanging around for three or four hours or going home and then traveling back into Munich again.

Hmm, I am going to have to reorganise the odd Friday methinks. I suppose when the Biergarten season kicks off proper people arrive earlier. It's not worth me coming this evening because we have guests arriving at 7.30. I could turn my garden into a Biergarten, that would be the perfect solution

Timing is also why the TT Fridays drinks night (Currently Intertwined with FBG-WM) usually starts at 17-1800..

In the winter indoor events there is usually a few who would come at
around 6pm if they knew others would be there then. Post here if you want to start earlier!
But
when the beergardens open, well thats a different matter! Most like to come at 6 or even 5. and some, (you know who you are!) even earlier!
By the way the weather is going, hopefully that is
not too far off.

Looks like you are continuing the trend of places with miss-spelt names.
I think I'll pop down to see Showem on the way too, The BG will be cool by about 6 so I'll probably be early (at OATS).

Oh, I have been there...it's practically within spitting distance of my new flat - very popular the night we were there, friendly waitresses, I seem to remember the food was quite good for pub fare...and there's a non-smoking section..
I have a dinner tomorrow (if by then I have rid myself of the migraine I've had today), but depending on when that's finished I may stumble in on my way home..

Mar 15 2007, 5:20 pm
According to my friend, who also lives nearby, there's a big sign up outside announcing that it's now completely non-smoking
If you are in the beergarden, when it cools down in the evening, come along to the Stoa Bar if you want to continue drinking beer! Or eat. Or cocktails! But for cocktails you can also join the
Negroni group.

Beer gardeners,
Since the beergarden weather has gone south for the rest of the week we have decided on a themed restaurant, for those of you not familiar with
Spektakel follow the link.
I booked a table for 7pm down the back under one of the roofs.
Spektakel,
Pfeuferstraße 32
Google MapsIt’s a short walk from
Harras U6, or you can take the 131, 132 or 134 bus to Herzog-Ernst-Platz or the 53 bus to Sendlinger Kirche
Question of the week:What invention is widely considered to have benefited mankind the mode?
Er.. Computers!...No.. Internet.. Gods own Microsoft Windows or something.
Silicon chips?.. Silicon breast implants? Now we are getting there!

To answer the question:
the invention which has most benefited mankind must surely be the TV remote control.
Kind of pointless if they hadn't invented the telly!
Hello Loungers and Loungettes

We've tables from

I didnt find a useful web page of theirs. If anyone has a link, please post it here. But we've been many times and the drinks and food are good.
(However, it is not too far from some curry establishments!)

Couldn't you get a straight Jack Russell, that one was obviously gay judging by his out fits.
He needed a warm jacket on cos he was feeling a little husky.

Mar 29 2007, 8:00 am
Husky, I'd try a gargle, don't think a pink jacket would help much
I thought dogs came with coats
Its an "almost time for beergarden" season today. But even for us beergardeners, 15 degrees is not quite there yet.
Maybe next week?

I'm rapidly approaching the, "I can't be arsed to do any more work and think I'll go and sit in a beergarden till the Friday pub thing starts" time of the day. Only 15°C, hah! Positively balmy.
Me too. Let's go.

I'll meet you there in an hour.

Um. Does Leo's have an outdoor bit? If not, there's the Hofbraukeller nearby...warm enough, you think?
