No sorry no Horse, for one thing its only a three year old and therefore too young and for a second when it drinks unfiltered beer it farts terribly. So no the horse won't be there.

Hi all
I am new to Munich, having moved over to join my partner a few weeks ago. I would like to invite myself along tomorrow evening (if sunny, if rainy might stay in and watch Olympics!). How will I recognise any of you at this place? Sensible replies please!

Hope to see you this evening. Liz

If its a hot and sunny day, we'll take the opportunity to go to a big beergarden. But if the forecast looks uncertain when we book, we'll pick somewhere where we can all go inside in an emergency. But it has to have room for a huge bunch of us. And preferably standing tables as people want to be able to move around.
But I'll certainly put the Kaisergarten on my list of places to consider when looking at the weather forecasts in the future.

Note:Look out for a Thursday as well as a Friday event this week!Who's going away this wet weekend? nobody? The Friday beergarden is also not going away either. Despite the rain and it's Thursday sibling.
On Friday it's at the very central
Wassermann, in
Isarvorstadt. from
19:00. Right by the
U-Bahn U1, U2
Fraunhoferstrasse. On the corner of Fraunhoferstrasse and
Baaderstrasse. It doesn't get much easier than that.
We've got the whole standing area in the right hand corner, and they've got a great
cocktails scene (€5.50 til 8pm) which will probably attract many happy people. Including newbies, losties, toasties chimpies and frimpies. (he gets worse!)
I booked in the name
Ivana Humpalot. On the phone the man didn't even flinch when I reserved. He obviously doesn't have the entire
Austin Powers boxed set! A sad,.. sad.. man.
See you. Ian . 0172 8227752

Paulaner am Nockherberg: Au-Haidhausen

Transport:
Tram 25 to Ostfriedhof or:
U1 to Kolumbusplatz and walk up the hill at Taubenstr.

TT Calendar that magically lists all up an coming events.

Sounds good - will try to make this one.
Re the tram: I think there's also a number 15 tram, which is really just a 25 in disguise. Only difference is that the 25 goes all the way to
Gruenwald, but the 15 only goes as far as Grosshesseloher Bruecke. But both go past Nockherberg way.
For those who love trams, but feel that the 15/25 isn't really quite their thing, there's also the number 27 tram which goes from
Petuelring up in the far north, trundles through Schwabing and the city centre, crosses over the river into dragon country, and then huffs and puffs and chugs all the way up the Nockherberg hill, to Ostfriedhof.
Bluedave, note that the 54 bus does in fact intersect the 27 tram route, so if you're ready to progress to trams, this is your chance!
