Go on. Admit it you lot! You panicked!
It was dry and sunny and we had a good turn out and I met a lot of new people.
Actually I thought the weather would have scared more people off. Well done all you 50 or so who still came despite the thunderstorm just before it started. I'm impressed!

Hello!
Due to the fact that we forgot to book the weather this week we have chosen another Indoor/Outdoor venue. (I know how much you lot panic over the weather.)
I’ve booked copious space at Egger in der Au, Schornstraße 2 (Corner Franziskanerstraße).
It’s a great place with Friendly staff. I asked for the area on the right with the tall tables although we have been assured of plenty of spill over space, oh! and they have tables out side for us too.
Tables booked for 7pm although as usual people will start turning up from about 5:30 or so.
Tables are booked in the name of ‘Ehgar the ‘Orrible and Blood Axe
Nearest public transport
Rosenheimerplatz (Sbahn) and Tram 15 and 25
Egger in der Au
Everyone is welcome, if you have trouble finding us call or SMS me on 01733510568
You may remember we went there recently, as a reminder here's a picture of the staff in Egger uniform:

See you there,
Gwyn

Excellent, the waitresses were probably the best I've ever encountered here in Munich when we went there last time, although sadly they weren't dressed quite like they are in that picture! However I believe the football EM starts this weekend, so I live in hope!

Just like a typical Friday Beergarden, they should learn how to make a Beergarden Table Shelter.
I still think number 7 looks like Lurker Mark

I regret to have to post a negative comment but I must complain about the posting of a picture of nubile young women on this thread. As a frustrated old bag I felt deeply humiliated by the content and feel that it is likely to reduce the number of females tempted to attend this meetup; especially frustrated old bags.
You have been warned...

Fun time . . . Cool place . . . I thoroughly enjoyed confusing the waitresses by getting up from my original seat, to go to another seat (also called mingling); they didn't know to whom I belonged. I actually had to pay for my first beer before I could order another . . . Very lovely and friendly staff, none the less

It's never too late to turn up. The group generally stays where it is till chucking out time.
However, when it is not quite sitting outside all night weather there has in the past been a movement in the general Curry direction.

My first time in this Egger and I really liked it...of course I was swayed by the fact that cocktails were on happy hour prices all night! I moved around and it was no problem for the waitress (as long as you kept the sacred beermat with you at all times). She was really friendly all night long. The pitchers of caipirhina with long straws c/o Siskebap were cool

Did everyone eventually evacuate the bar or did you stay for breakfast after all?
Oh! I had forgotten about those cocktails! No wonder!
Extremely good service there again. As long as you stay on the tables for a single waitress. With 50+ of us again it was not easy to do that.

Ooh, this sounds good ... a new place. Looking at the Google map, it's just over on the "wrong" side of the railway tracks. And just around the corner from Cannabis Street. Ooh, actually, lots of interesting street names around there. A 'hood with character. Will we meet some interesting local residents?
Yes. Everybody over there is "a bit funny!

The TT reviews on
Feuerberg have been awful recently. I don't know whether these reviews are genuine, or whether they're all from just one person with a vendetta. It'll be interesting to hear your assessment of the place.
