Actually the place wasn't bad (good beer anyway), I just need to find a better way home...

I haven't been to Hirschgarten for years, I think the last time was when I actually lived in Munich and it was in Black and White!

Geez, last tuesday, this friday, Americans in Munich meeting there soon. Coincidence? I think not.

Yeah sorry. It just felt right to go somewhere big. It was either the Hirschgarten or the Michaeligarten. Must have been those deer using telekinesis. Anyway, with probably a totally different set of people it'll be a different enough experience.

Are people going to be there early? I know its POETS day and so on, but there is no way I'm taking the laptop and suit to the biergarten.

I'm in Laim, quite close to the Hirschgarten. It looks as if the shit will move away over the next half hour and there may even be some sunshine. The wind keeps picking up though so it's hard to tell exactly what will happen. If it clears over the next 30 minutes or so I'll be heading over to the garden.

But not my bowel movements.

Cocktails - anywhere dry. I have an appointment at 9 or so downtown, so anywhere schwabing and or central would be great. But I'm not fussy.

Apparently Ian leading a group of diehards have set up station now at the HG. The rain seems to be easing off so I shall start my journey (armed with umbrella and light jacket).
