Here is your Thought For Today:
It's the early bird that gets the worm,
but the second mouse that gets the Cheese.
Any one fancy turning up early? I'll aim for 6pm, hope I'm not there first.

That was jolly night out a bit crowded though and the poor barmaid pushed off her feet. Her idiot assistant ( who was black haired by the way) was by far the dumbest serving person to hit the planet. Warm too but maybe that´s just me!

Slight understatement don't you think? Was a case of musical chairs...almost had to start "stacking" people to fit them in. The heat was pretty unbearable...fans did not get switched on

Service, as you say, was shit unless you went directly to the bar where you got your drink pronto! Anyhow, was a nice crowd and that's what makes the evening

Lucky you! I ordered the same beer five times over the course of half an hour. The dark haired bint then took me to the till when I was settling up and tried to charge me for all five!

In all fairness they were very full and one of the staff didn't turn up.
I'd like to see a black list for consistently trying to rip the punters off but not for slight incompetance.

I'll book more space next time. Though this time they didn't want me to reserve more than 20.
Yep, the waitress apologised for being short staffed that night, and was pleased when the bill tallied up exactly at the end. But beers were brought out by 'zombie' waitress and given to just anybody.
There was about 10 of us at the
Muddy boot after, and 1 at the
Hide-out after that!

I had the worst seat stuck in the middle of the aisle...and I wrenched my shoulder when someone tried to throw a chair at me...Still I love the name
zapata (Mexican socialist!!!). Next time we must book in the name Rosa Luxemburg. Well at least Marie Curie was a good name - a woman with IQ rather than fake bodies. So how did her hubby die??? Don't force me to read and check. She accidentally poisoned him during an experiment and his eyes bulged, he foamed at the mouth, went a strange colour? Go on, tell us!
His head exploded!
I think we'll stick to the fake bodies next time.
belgianpraline
Jan 20 2008, 11:13 pm
Are you trying to say his head would not have exploded if she'd had a fake body?
Hi eco-warriors!
The place is called
Gast from
6.45 pm and its at the front of the
Gasteig! And its
cool! We've booked loads of space and there is plenty of moving-around space too. People have requested this. Well, people who've sat next to me, that is!
Finding it:The address is
Rosenheimer Straße 5 actually physically at the
Gasteig itself. You'll see it if you approach the Gasteig from the bottom of the hill or river. On your left up the steps into the square in front of the Gasteig building. The plan on their
website shows it quite accurately. We're on the high tables by the front windows.
I booked in the name
Johnny Morris. The lady asked me if I was
the Johnny Morris. No of course she didn't! What were you thinking? Hey! He's a British hero! He could impersonate a camel
perfectly!
Everyone welcome as usual. Check out the
Toytown Calendar for whats on tonight, and all upcoming nights. If you know the
old calendar up to early last year, this is different! It really works!

Yep he was a legend..a time when respect, dignity and corporal punishment were on the menu.
It brought us up good.
If corporal punishment was returned fast, then the thuggery of modern day living would be stopped?
I will turn up but as Tolkien said..

Greetings,
This week I have booked a table at
Café Blue. It’s the first time our lot have been there, they have some high tables which I have reserved in the name of Johnny English.
TT on Cafe blueI expect we’ll start turning up around 6:30, according to the web site Happy hour starts at 16:00
Café Blue,
Implerstrasse 2
81371 München
It’s easy to get to, since it’s just round the corner from
Poccistrasse ubahn.
See you all there,

What is that supposed to mean? Are you chopping girls up and feeding the chops to others?
Please clarify, I am getting very worried.
You are right to be worried. You should have asked earlier. I've only got bums left.
Actually peoples behaviour on such events is sick...sick-lick... cyclical! People feel like a good night out ever few weeks. And the urge to have a wild girls blast night out also comes in cycles.

What I'm trying to say is that things even themselves out. Am I making sense? No? Hmmm.

The service was appalling, surprising really since i would normally reccomend this place.
However, it worked in our favour in a way, we found a little diamond.
We decamped just up the road to The Lindwurmhof, Maierbrau, one of the best beers you've ever had and a mad Yogoslavian landlord.
Couldn't do enough for us and gave us schnapps and changed the music to our taste.
It's also a smoker pub and i heartily reccomend it for future TTT and Fridays,

I think Smoker Pubs are off our list, we have always tried to avoid smokey pubs, now there is absolutly no reason to go to a pub where people are smoking.

I'm glad to hear that! Have to agree with Bluedave about the service though, she was totally dippy. I had to reorder my beers so often as she just couldn't seem to remember more than 2 drinks at a time. Even when she wrote them down she still forgot some. Still we had a good evening deciding where to send Leisure suit larry on his holidays!
