Nice bar/cafe/restaurant, not too crowded, divided into two sections. One was very loud music playing, the other was just noisy from people talking a lot. We were in the latter bit.
Very tasty cocktails (my "Touchdown" was not nearly as sweet as the ones I've had in Cafe Munich, I think they put less grenadine in it). The chicken burger was also very tasty, though they put mayonnaise on it (*spit*) because I forgot to tell them not to (I forget not to because it doesn't say anything about it on the menu), served with twisty fries. Not sure what the stuff they were cooked in was, The Boss said it might have been paprika, but whatever it was they were pretty tasty.
I'll be going back. Shame its in Regensburg (which is overall very nice, I must say).

There's a good Indian restaurant in Regensburg .
Also, a very lively Irish pub.

Granny - didn't see an inidian restaurant, but did see about half a dozen "irish pubs", including "The Leprachaun" (however it is spelt!), but we didn't visit any of them.
Is it just me, or did the people in Regensburg seem nicer than the people in Munich?

Well look at your choice of words: '
seem nicer'. If they seemed nicer then they seemed nicer, that is how you perceived it, so of course it is just you :-) . But yeah, I have spent some time in Regensburg and I do like it and do think it does feel different than Muc. Remember though that you are contrasting a city of 1.3 million with what is basically a town of 120,000.

The people of Regensberg are a bit more relaxed than the city folk, therefore, they can be nicer! However, I have also been on the receiving end of their sharp tongue's.
I stood on my glasses getting out of bed one morning and had to wear my prescription sunglasses on a wet misserable day. Opa and I had planned to drive to R/burg, so I decided to find an optician when I got there. Not only did I find one, the young woman was extremely friendly and helpful. She not only repaired my glasses but cleaned them, without charge.
Chuffed to bits, that I no longer looked as though I'd forgotten my Ladrador, and that someone had just been nice to me, we decided to go for a cup of tea in this pleasant town.
Unfortunately, the nasty people worked there, maybe it was just the wrong choice of venue? So, don't let your guard down in this lovely town.
Have you tried the boat trips to Austria, or just up and down the Danube? I think it goes to Straubing and back?
