Hi,

I'm attempting to help a friend located in Germany with his router. He has a speedport w 500V.

He isn't experienced with doing port forwarding (I'm not much better), and I can't read German. I've not been able to find an english manual.

What he wants to do is forward port 1194 (UDP) to 192.168.1.10. He has sent me a screenshot of what looks like the right page, and it appears to be the same as the one shown in this thread: http://tinyurl.com/za4p8

Can someone provide directions, or a link to an english manual?

Thanks,

Rob

There isn't an English manual. It's a German device for the German market. Even if there were then the user interface would still be German as it comes with the German firmware necessary for the German DSL protocol.

In the "Regal definition" area (Rule definitions):
Enter anything under "Bezeichnung" (Name of rule)
Find the relevant PC to forward to in the dropdown list (these are recognised PC names stored in the section "PCs übernehemen und freigeben". Each name has to be stored against a specific MAC address, so that the port is correctly configured irrespective of any DHCP-supplied IP address) - "Gültig für PC" = "valid for PC"
Make sure the "Aktiv" (Active) check box is clicked to activate this rule.

The "Weitergeleitete Ports" are simply the TCP or UDP ports to forward. You can enter multiple ports seperated by "-" or ","
