Hi to all!

I moved with my work in Germany since 1 month ago and I don't know much about how things work in here.
It is possible for foreigners to lease a car in Germany?
And if yes, can you tell me some general conditions and/or companies who do this?

(I don't know if it's important or not but my current work permit is valid for about 2 years from now.)

Thanks!
Joliet Jake
Yes, it is possible, assuming you have a valid driver's license from home.

Check here for more information.

Thanks for the info!
From what I've seen on some websites I think my driver's licence is valid now but I will have to change it somehow into a german driver's licence in less than 6 months.

Not sure where you are from, but if you search for "license" on this site, chances are you'll find something pertaining to your situation.

Good luck!

'licence' may also be a good keyword, in case both words aren't covered in the title.

hi again!
as my knowledge of german language it tends to be equal to zero I have another question:
how do the germans call the "leasing with residual value" - the leasing when after you finished paying the monthly rates you have to pay a relatively big amount of money (15-25% from the original car value) to own the car?
thanks!

Never mind!
I know now!
