Drinks and food at World Cup fan fest

Since we usually have our thursday night drinks in Frankfurt, anyone fancy a drink or two and maybe some international food down on the Main at the fan fest this evening? tonight is the night where everything really gets going, they have bar tents and DJs going till 2am tonight. There is a bar between Alte Brücke (the walking bridge) and the Schweizer Straße bridge called Pirates! They are having a world cup kickoff party, I have an email which I can forward to anyone who wants it. If you print the email out and bring it along then you will get a free drink of your choice there tonight, including cocktails etc.

I don't think I am making it tonight I'm afraid

I won't be making it down there tonight, but wanted to ask if people wanted to meet up for something similar over the weekend, either pre-gaming or post-gaming it ?

Hi Sarah - a few of us are (hopefully) meeting up in the Main Arena tomorrow for some pre- during- and post-gaming.

I think most people will try to head down pretty early, as it will be rammed. I am aiming to get there for 12ish.

In the meantime, sit back and see if Costa Rica can cause the first upset of the cup!
