Bowling @ Olympia Bowling

Anybody like to join for bowling? I know a place in schwabing west but we can arrange an alternate place. Please respond if any interest.

Oooooh, I love bowling but was going to wait till the WM was over before suggesting an outing. Are you thinking of the Olympia Bowling place? It's my local.

my suggested place was in barlachstr, 80804, but i am open to any place.

I have been thinking with all this CRAPPY weather that bowling would be fun.

Now I am with Mere in that I am not a "bowler", but have fun doing it with the right mix of people, food and drinks...I would certainly join in.

OK, let's get things moving here. What about this Sunday? I'll make the reservations at Olympia Bowling (which is at Klopstockstrasse, around the corner from Barlachstrasse). U3 and U2 both stop at Scheidplatz, it's a 7 min walk from there, there is ample parking space as well (separate parking lot).
Does 4 ppl. per lane sound right? It would be cool if we could get 8-10 people together.
Some info:
- shoe rent is € 3.00, no return
- lane per hour is € 20.00, up to 6 ppl. per lane, full hours only
- drink prices are decent, beer should be Löwenbräu or Hofbräu, I'll check this evening
- finger food and real food available
Sunday Special: From 6 pm on the lane gets cheaper by the hour
OR
Sunday Breakfast Buffet 9.30am - 1.30am € 13.90 per person including 3 rounds of bowling
So if you're in for this please post here and I'll tally up this evening. Or PM me and I'll give you my cell phone number for weekend contact.

I prefer breakfast after game not before. So if not possible, the 6PM sunday option looks good to me. Please count me in. Hmmm i guess sara this is exactly the place i was talking about by chance.

BTW: Folks can use milbertshofen U-bahn station(1 station north of scheidplatz) which is closer.

thanks SB for organizing. We would love to join up. I kinda like 5 or 6 persons per lane myself. I will go anytime as long as it is not BEFORE noon and I prefer around 4 pm to start.

I LOVE bowling. I was waiting for the thread like this for ages. I prefer Isarbowling, but any place would go actually though not today, has to work in evening and not tomorrow, becuase I'm going BOWLING with Russians tomorrow, want ot join us?

@ Natalia: Bowling tomorrow sounds good, especially with the added advantage of being able to practise my Russian, as I don´t often get the opportunity to speak Russian.

I was actually supposed to be with 2. But one of them decided to bring more people. But i think we were just enough for 2 people didnt we? Thanks Sara again for booking and having such a joyful time with cool people.

I'm glad a good time was had by all. This may turn into a semi-regular event taking place every two or three months; whoever feels like posting a time and location, do so, it doesn't have to be Olympia Bowling every time.
