Jazzanova @ Funky Kitchen Fri, 11.6.04

For those not leaving town... This Friday local DJ Dirk Rumpff (Offtrack.org) has his Pony Klub night at the Funky Kitchen with guest Jazzanova.

Nice find Pao. Was just looking for something to go to this weekend. Shame it's in Funky Kitchen. If you can get in - then go!

So, I just got an email from Dirk Rumpff who agrees there are some undesirable aspects to the Funky Kitchen, the door staff being one of them, but he says on Friday he will have his own guys at the door, which I take to mean no bullsh!t, although there will still be many people wanting to get into to this night and at some point they may have to turn people away if the place gets full.

So I say, go early, and give it a shot. There's always Die Registratur next door to fall back on.

We will definitely be there.

Right, well I'm going to try Funky Kitchen tonight. If I don't get in then I'll be next door at Registratur:

Well they finally let me in the Funky Kitchen. Was nothing special, but quite nice at the same time. Some great music from Jazzanova, albeit a little weird towards the end. We danced and drank the night away.
Another great night out. Thanks Pao for suggesting it and convincing me I could get in!
