Bank opening times

Does anyone know if the banks ( or at least Deutsche Bank) stay open late any evening (past 6 pm)?

Promenadeplatz open until 6pm Thursdays, think that might be the latest (which is why I tend to use the phone & online instead).

The one in the OEZ is also open till six on Thursdays. Most are only open till 5:30 Thursdays. What do you want, banks that open when the customers have got time to go there, don't be ridiculous.

Postbank is open Saturday. It's a big plus, but It requires several steps and documents to open an account (I tried once but cancelled). Also they usually don't have any english-speaking service pesonnel.

SSKM is open Thursdays till at least 6pm, but looks like you're out of luck for your bank! What about online banking, or using those Service Terminals?

If you phone the branch where you have your account and say you want an appointment, they are occasionally flexible and can arrange it for you after hours. But it's by appointment only, not just walk-in.

I usually do everything by online banking but I need to make a lodgement.

I don't know what a lodgement is, but do you need to do it at your own bank? If not, the Resiebank(?) at the HBF is open pretty late (10 or 11pm I think) most days. I often use it for paying bills.
