I'm entertaining a visitor from the U.S. on Saturday and he wants to enjoy the wonders of the Chinese Tower beer garden, so I thought this would be a good chance for a meetup of any newbies, oldies, problem drinkers, or anyone else ready for some beer garden action after all of the recent bad weather. As long as the weather is good enough for the beer garden to be open, we'll be there.

Starting time is 3:00.

I still need to think of a conspicuous object to bring or article of clothing to wear so that Toytowners can recognize us - or you can PM me for a cell phone number.

Who's in?

Until the weather changes i think this is going to be hard to entice people to sad.gif

I'd be up for this if the weather gods don't fuck it up. Gotta go to a brunch thing in the late-morning but a bit of afternoon beer garden vibe could be just the thing.

At the moment it's not looking the Mae West!

The prediction from AccuWeather doesn't look too bad. A bit cool, but good drinkin' conditions ...

You did enter Munich as location, did ya? unsure.gif

That AccuWeather site says it's currently "Mostly Sunny" in Munich.

Still, weather permitting, Chinese Tower at about 3pm sounds good to me.

As for recognising you, please don't go with your previous suggestion laugh.gif

I'll be the guy standing alone in the corner. Either that or the one with no pants and a lampshade on his head...

My weather thingeemajig says "Pushing shit uphill with chopsticks if you want to be sitting outside in a beer garden on saturday, maybe you should consider the Augustiner Keller"

The forecast is getting a bit more optimistic. There's no need to be scared off by a little bit of rain. All you need is a Krug "mit Deckel" to keep the rain out of your beer.

wetter.com is looking ok too. in fact very similar to johnny8008's last post but without the biersteins!
