Crawlie

Well, I have finally made my mind up and will be leaving this old Toytown, looking to make my fortune in sunny Californ-EYE-AYE.. Or at least make sure Winegirl has a well-paying job so I can become a "house husband" and not work at all (I mean, let's be honest shall we? Shopping, cooking and cleaning cannot really be classed as "work" now can it?...)
So, to get the ball rolling I will announce a date, time and location for my leaving do, which will, funnily enough, coincide with my last Karaoke Friday when I will hand over the reigns (or the mic in this instance) to my successor. Also gives me an excuse to conduct it for half an hour and then go and get shit-faced whilst muggins successor sorts through the chaos I will leave behind.
Anyhoo, enough of my banter. Here are the details:
Friday, June 23rd
The Arc Pub
From around, well, after work really.. 8 or so? I dunno, that sounds OK doesn't it?
All are welcome (apart from
pikeys)
Thank you
Crawlie

Your emotional outpouring is truly touching. I can really see that it will be a wrench for you to leave.
Count me in. Have to make sure that you do actually leave.

I did have a tear in my eye when I wrote that though... It may have had something to do with me squashing my left testicle when I sat down too quickly though. You know? when the fabric of your jeans folds just at the wrong angle and...

First I'm out of town for Winegirl's leaving do, now out of town for Crawlie's.

I do hearby bequeath the butchering of "Friends in Low Places" to someone else of equally poor talent.
@Crawlie - will try to make it up to you the Friday before

I'll be out of town on your leaving do, but will hopefully see you before you go. Will you not be organising one last mini wine-tasting, for old times' sake?

I see this (d)evolving into a karaoke "greatest hits" with Crawlie bringing his favorites back for encores. Should be grand.

That's a good idea. He can wear a Burger King hat and just tell people what to sing. You would sign up and then Crawlie would pick the song you would sing. Of course you HAVE to do it since he's leaving and all.

Can't wait to see some familiar faces from TT - splendid that you both will be my Toytown "neighbors" in California!
