Absolutely! If you can't even capitalize how do you seriously propose to teach English. Why don't you teach your own language instead? It would be more productive.

It costs all of €35 to join for a year. Not exactly a huge budget-breaker. For that you can attend several well-run workshops and seminars for free and you can write on your CV that you belong to a professional teaching organisation; which might show a potential employer that you are serious about teaching, not just fly-by-night.
Of course it's worth it.
