Anybody's company have a unique idea for a party here in Munich. Am looking to entertain 30 clients (corporate accountants). No boring dinners. Budget is around 50-100 Euro per person.

Thanks for the suggestions
Lassie
How about the BMW test centre at the airport?

I understand that you can hoon around for an hour or so, plus there's a skidpan, then go and get drunk somewhere. Never been but a couple of guys from work did something like that once I think on a corporate jolly.

You could give a shout to Einfachgeniessen.de for a private wine tasting event. They offer several complimentary options from a wine and dessert to wine and cooking event. Thats usually interactive good time bet within the higher end of your budget range.

cheers

Good idea, and how did I forget. In London we had an event where it was learn how to and actually make your own Sushi. Plenty of wine and Sake too (maybe that's how I forgot?). Might be a bit steep price wise though, and not sure how many sushi making client entertaining people there are in Munich.

When I used to arrange company events like that we once had a very successful "Casino Evening".

We were already in a hotel and a company brought real Poker and Roulette tables in for the evening.
Obviously they don't allow real gambling, each person is given an amount of "Toy" money and can gamble as they like with that.

We supplied prizes for the 3 highest winners at the end of the night.

Alternatively, fancy a whisky tasting?

Another thing we once organised was a medieval evening out near Landshut.

damm, cant afford to lose clients to hyperthermia and dehydration. ok, get a half of the staff fitted with gps transmitters and web cams, same thing as before including wild bear and other half of staff with guns, clients bet on who makes it. last one in loses job.

You might want to have a look at www.mydays.de (its in German though).

They have everything from cooking courses, paragliding, golf days, wine seminars etc. etc. etc.

How about Cart Racing ?

http://www.kartpalast.de/

They have 15 carts, so you could organize a race with teams of two. Although I`m not an accountant, I had great fun the last time at such an event.

Monty Python's Flying Circus Accountancy Shanty:

LEAD PIRATE:
Full speed ahead, Mr. Cohen!

CHORUS:
Up, up, up your premium. Up, up, up your premium.
PIRATE:
Scribble away!
CHORUS:
Up, up, up your premium.
PIRATE:
And balance the books.
CHORUS:
Up, up, up your premium.
PIRATE:
Scribble away!
CHORUS:
Up, up, up your premium.
PIRATE:
But manage the books.
CHORUS:
Up, up, up.
PIRATES:
It's fun to charter an accountant
And sail the wide accountancy,
To find, explore the funds offshore
And skirt the shoals of bankruptcy!

It can be manly in insurance.
We'll up your premium semi-annually.
It's all tax deductible.
We're fairly incorruptible,
We're sailing on the wide accountancy!

LEAD PIRATE:
Oh, this is fun, Mr. Cohen!
PIRATE:
Sail away!...
CHORUS:
Up, up, up...
LEAD PIRATE:
Fetch me another exotic salute. To port! Bring her port to shell out! And the medium guys shell out to port! Balance the books! Bring me another small shellfish, Mr. Cohen...

I was going to suggest the Welser Küche myself.

Excellent idea!

The Feldherrnkeller just off Odeonsplatz is perfect for such a venue. They do a several course meal in medieval style with music and entertainment. Best of all the women have to serve the men.

I'll post more information if people are interested.

We did a nice event in the PalmGarten at Schloss Nymphenburg, we had our own caterer, but you can use thiers too.

Also- St. Emmeran's Mühle has a nice neben zimmer for events.
UrbanAngel
No need, ER: Welser Küche / Odeonsplatz

I once participated in a cooking lesson/competition with around 30 colleagues - it was lots of fun, and at the end of it all we sat down and ate what we'd just made. I'm not sure what it cost though.

Thanks UA, that's the one I was looking for. It's great fun!

Exactly, that one.

We had a great company do here. http://www.haralds-kochschule.de/

Involves turning up...cooking in teams and drinkings lots of wine while trying to assemble the ingredients in a themed food of your choice. For example, you can decide to cook thai, or indian etc.

Then you all get to sit down together and enjoy the fruits of your labour. It was all very stressfree and really good fun. I recommend it.
UrbanAngel
Ah cool, somewhere which does it. As I said, when we did something similar (but it was in a different country) we all had great fun.

I can imagine Haralds Kochschule to be expensive though, since normal courses cost from €75-€100 for 1 person.
