I am the only user in the village

It's 4:06 A.M. Munich time and I am the only user on the forum. Just felt like sayin'.

Edit: D'oh! 4:07 and somebody else just came in!

It's pretty quiet at this time of the morining. I've got a head start, being on Indian time - it's 8am here.

I just like getting up this early every morning.

Well, I'm way behind you all. It's 9:35 in the evening now.

not really. I just get up that early to have some peace and quiet and a nice strong cup of coffee before my toddler wakes up.

And once again, it's only me. Sweet mericful Jebus, the Germans party hard. I left two people out beause I simply couldn't take any more. If anybody needs me, I'll be throwing up for the next fifteen to twenty minutes.

Sweet holy hell, I think the sun's already coming up. Once the regurgitation is finished, I'll be hiding under a thick layer of blankets.

I'm probably on here the latest, but that also doesn't really count, since it's only 8:30pm here. Wow, what a wonderful weekend I just had. I drove down to Santa Cruz, and it was the most perfect, absolutely gorgeous weather. Nothin' like sitting on the cliffs up above the breaking waves on a warm, sunny day...

God I hate being up and having to go to work at this time of day.

I understand Friday, thanks to the WC I have to work early shift (starts at 6:30) and I have to travel across town so I get up at 5:00

well today I got up about 20 mins ago, and that is much nicer than being up at 4.30am

One public holiday and you all take the day off TT. It's like a ghost board.

Not all of us are on holiday,some of us are single handedly keeping the wheels of industry turning!

I see 4, then 3, then 2... I already begin to cheer up - then back again 4 users!
If I log out it would be one less, but then I cannot post so I have to log in again... it is just not the right time of day for posting.

no. I stayed up on purpose, you know, to become the only user in the village for once, but oh... I didn't succeed, oh-oh-oh, my-o-my

I woke up this morning at about 4:46 and was lying in bed contemplating getting another 15 minutes of sleep or getting up and making a cup of coffee when it occurred to me that if I logged on to TT, I might finally be able to add my name to the "I am the only user in the village" list. So I hopped out of bed at lightening speed, made a cup of coffee, and logged on... only to find Crawlie dawdling around in the World Cup threads. Dang it. As long as he and Winegirl are in America I will never be the only user in the village.

Well, today I did it: I am the only user in the village. Almost 3a.m.

You know what?
This is not fun at all. I like it better when there are many online. It's boring like this.

I never know if I'm the only user in the village (though it's likely), because I never look at the main forum page. I don't think I've been off the "view new posts" page for months.

Strange as I am logged on all the time. I guess I don't count.

Most users are permanently logged in, but if you aren't pressing any buttons on the website then you aren't considered "active".

Aha... I get it now. I thought I was the only user, but I wasn't. Good to know that I wasn't just by myself in here last night, after all!
