Hamburg fish market in Munich

The annual Hamburg Fish market is now on at Sendlinger Tor. There are a variety of food stands and a few good deals to be had, for example, a cheese stand offering a basket of 7 different cheeses and a small bottle of wine for 10€ and no, they are not off!

There is a nice bar in a stand looking like a windmill, where you can try your luck with figs in vodka (vodkafeige). There are also some small beergardens set up with big umbrellas if you want to sit down and try out the various seafood offerings. Nice atmosphere and surroundings.

For some reason, I think "Hamburger Fisch Markt" is hilarious.

food looked quite alright, and a change of pace from the usual street fair offerings.

Would of stayed longer but it was pissing down rain.

Don't forget to mention the pickle stand: Mustard pickles, spiced pickles, garlic pickles and salt pickles €1 a piece. The cheese is good quality, I get it every time these guys visit Munich. BTW, they love audience participation.

Yes! The pickles! I actually took a photo of that stand. I don't think I have ever seen pickles that big
