Touch rugby has started a new-ish group in Frankfurt. They are mainly ex-pats (Brits, Aussies, Kiwis etc) with the odd (i am told VERY-odd ) German. New players (guys or gals) , regardless of experience are invited to join in the fun. I can't gives any details of where they actaully play (I will post this info as soon as I get it) but anyone wishing to play should contact:

as anyone who knows our group in Munich or the Berlin or Cologne groups, touch is all about having fun and socialising whilst enjoying the game. For those who want more than social pick-up games, there is always the chance to join in numerous national and international competitions.

The guys have joined a sports club in Frankfurt, SC 1880 Frankfurt, with an existing rugby section. Touch has recruited some ex-rugby players but many are absoluet newbies.

By car via the Nordwestkreuz (A5/A66)
A5, exit Miquelalle, A66 direction "Nordweststadt, Eschersheim, Ginnheim" till exit Dornbusch. Follow the signposts for hr (Hessischer Rundfunk). At the 4th lights turn right into Bertramstraße, take the second left into Bertramswiese -Hessische Rundfunk is on the left-, carry on past hr. At the end of the street (now Feldgerichtstraße) is the entrance to SC 1880.
By car via the A661
Exit Frankfurt-Eckenheim, Eckenheimer Landstraße direction Stadtmitte and cross Hügelstraße and Marbachweg. Shortly after the (overground) U-Bahn-Haltestelle "Hauptfriedhof" turn right into Malaperstraße. At the end turn left into Feldgerichtstraße and then right onto the club carpark.
By public tansport
From the airport use the S8 oder S9 (direction Hanau) to Station "Hauptbahnhof". Change onto the U5 (direction Preungesheim) to "Hauptfriedhof". From there you walk along the Malapertstraße and Feldgerichtstraße to SC 1880 (ca. 5 Minutes).
From the city centre (Hauptwache) take the U1, U2 or U3 (diretcion Ginnheim, Gonzenheim oder Hohemark) to Station "Dornbusch". From there, walk along the Eduard-Rüppell-Straße, Bertramswiese and Feldgerichtstraße to SC 1880 (ca. 15 Minutes).
