Made these yesterday, and for all those who love curries and baked beans - a must.

Per one can of Heinz baked beans
1tsp turmeric
1tsp red chilli powder
1.5 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 red chilli chopped
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 small onion chopped
1 bunch spring onions chopped
fresh coriander
1tsp fresh crushed garlic
1tsp finely grated ginger
1 tbsp olive oil for frying

Fry garlic and ginger for approx 5 seconds, and then add spices and tomato puree. After another 5 seconds add onion, spring onion and chilli. Fry until onion is translucent and slightly brown and oil has seperated. Add baked beans and simmer for approx. 5 minutes. Add freshly chopped coriander and serve with toast.

Double the wind ?

Sounds like a Spinal Tap 2 CD live album.

Actually the recipie is interesting, I do have a tin of baked beans and I do live alone. Might try this tonight. Might do a home office day tomorrow though.

Sounds delicious even if it is a bit dangerous (for the men mind you because women don't do such things!) tongue.gif
I have a baked beans recipe that is very simple and everyone always loves them. It's extremely simple actually:

Heinz baked beans in the can
Bulls Eye barbeque sauce
Caramelized onions with garlic
Bacon that has fried in a pan. Then poor the bacon and all of the fat into the beans.

mix it all up and bake it for just a bit.

I will try your recipe next time Hams..my recipe is a bit boring after 10 years of using it.
