Oompah band and beer in Grosshadern - Munich

The Pullacher Blasmusikanten will be playing their mix of bavarian classics and pop hits at the Haderner Dorffest this Thursday from 11:00 - 16:00. Thursday is "Christihimmelfahrt", which translates as h-o-l-i-d-a-y to you and me!

This is your chance to see not only real-live Bavarians in action, but up to 4 (FOUR!) Toytowners as well!

Of course, it's a dorf FEST, which means fest ZELT, which means lots of BEER and schweinsbraten. Hope to see you all there!

Get off at the away-from-munich end of the station, and you'll see the tent when you surface.
Edit: get off at the BACK of the train.

One correction, unless the tent has moved from last year, go to Klinikum Großhadern and get off at the back of the train. Ie, the end nearest town.

is this the one where it rained last year?

yep the tent is still there. As you say, get off the train at the back and exit the platform in the direction the train came from, go up the escalator and you can see the tent on the right hand side.

Except this year, all the shooting guys will no doubt be out in the woods, hunting bears.

That was a special event last year. This year it should just be the regular lot of happy and tipsy fathers and Toytowners.

i am pretty certain that i will be there for a fair portion of the day. At least the length of time it takes to consume three maß, a Brezn and a Steckerlfisch.
