Field hockey clubs and teams in Munich

Hi,

Are there any hockey players out there? I'm interested in joining a club.
I know there are a few around Munich so I was wondering if any body could give me some tips on which one to go to.
I've played a high level pretty much all my life, however I've now hit the wrong side of 30 so I'm not sure I want to do the whole 3 nights a week training thing anymore.

There are quite a few clubs around Munich. The two most famous are Münchener SC and Rot-Weiss München. Both played, or are still playing, in the top leagues in Germany and have an extensive set-up. I played for Münchner SC for a year or so when my back still let me play.

For Regional Leagues I would look and Wacker München and Grünwald. They play at a much more "relaxed" pace.

Oh, and if you are used to Astroturf and would prefer to play in the lower leagues then be warned. Astroturf is the surface of the elite and playing on it will become a luxury rather than the norm
