Availability of 0.5l bottles of Becks beer

Where in Germany can you purchase a half-liter or Beck's? Aren't they only 33cl?

I used to buy .5 liter bottles in Frankfurt.

Otherwise, I found the article to be spot on wrt the negative attitudes of the Germans. Didn't Johannes Rau say something like that before having left the Presidency?

.5L Becks are easy to find in Munich.

First, it isn't considered a beer in Germany if it isn't brewed in Bavaria. Second, who the fcuk drinks Beck's? and third, to avoid confusion, the author should have written a beer which doesn't pander to the metrosexual generation and has a product which is only 33cl

If you've ever tried a Frankfurt beer, like Binding, you'd drink Becks instead. Two people have since informed you that you can in fact, buy .5l Becks.
