Cinema München and matinee ticket prices - Munich

Maybe they have always done this before, but to my knowledge (and memory) they have not.

I went to see DaVinci Code yesterday before 5:30 (typically matinee price of 4 euro) but yesterday they charged 5 euro.

Now I know they add the extra euro to longer movies, but in the past, this was only done to evening and weekend prices - they never (again, that I remember) added it to the matinee or kinotag prices. I have seen many movies there that were also 2+ hours (which is when they add the extra euro) on kinotags and matinee times, and it has always been the 4 euro for matinee and 5 euro for kinotag.

Has onyone else noticed this. I am curious to see if they will be charging 5 or 6 euro for DVC the upcoming kinotags (Mon/Tue).

CINEMA-Day euro 5.00
Happy Hour Each show starting prior to 17:30 hr euro 4.00

Mmm, as far as I recall, I saw an extra-length movie matinee and they charged extra that time too. That was in fall 2005.

Yes they are charging the additional 1 € this evening. Cinema is usually cheaper than Mataeser and they have excellent sound and picture quality.

Garibaldi, not everyone is independantly wealthy like you obviously are. For the rest of the peons, one Euro is something to be noted and counted.
