Meetup for Irish people in Berlin

I've been living in Berlin for four months now - and I absolutely love it - but would love to meet other Irish or native English speaking people living in Berlin. I mean tandem partners are great and everything, but sometimes you just miss having a conversation which isn't fraught with grammar mistakes (on both sides) and misunderstandings. So anyone out there interested in meeting another native speaker?

I will be in Berlin next Tuesday 18th July, does anyone want to meet up and play at being a guide to the city?

oh and i know a mint Irish pub just on friedrichstrasse! the staff are great, they show all the football,have karaoke on fridays and live music on saturdays if anyone wants to meet up??

Hello! Any irish person feel like getting in contact? I am 28 and have been in Berlin since last January (have spent about 5 years in Germany to date). I would really like to meet other irish people to talk rubbish with (no offense!)

I keep seeing a lot of people asking about meeting up. But no suggestions of when and where. What about 8pm thursday night, oct 26, Oscar Wilde Friedrick str. just for a couple drinks and chat. I'm from Canada myself but after living in London and Cork for a while, find myself drawn to either Aussie or Irish bars.

I'll be there with a couple american friends (they're ok, for americans...) anyhow. So if anyone else wants to come along, you're more than welcome.

Relatively new to berlin and hopeing to start living the glamorous life of a starving English teacher soon. Would be great to start meeting a few more people here.

I am going to try make it after my German class, I reckon you will all still be there at 9pm?

We'll try and aim for the front i guess. that way it'll be easier to recognise the people coming in looking confused looking for the other people looking for other people. if that makes sense.

the whole "Irish" thing about this is just an excuse. If it were titled an 'american' meet up, would anyone really want to come. ;o)

hi. just curious, is there anything special going on at rio tonight? i'm confused, they had some kind of summer "closing" party - so naively i assumed they closed i guess that was just a summer/season end "celebration"
