Is anyone planning on going into Frankfurt to watch Liverpool get Hammered?

Would that be "West-Hammered"? (Sorry, I can't resist a pun like that, you'll get to know me.)
Slackmack
so far west ham are 1 up on liverpoo
Slackmack
make that 2 - 0
Jeeves
Looks like 2 -1 to me, even if I'm nowhere near Frankfurt wink.gif
Developing into quite a game.

come on, the Hammers
twas a good first half, anyway (well, after the first goal at least)

Finally Liverpool remembers how to play football again ! 2-2 and Liverpool now looking the stronger team. God they could not get much worse than they were in the first half.
pepper
OK I was wrong, it could get worse. Liverpool just seem to have forgotten how to play football. West Ham deserve to win, they have played well, and really got at Liverpool, although in the final 15 minutes seem to be sitting back to much and inviting Liverpool at them.
Slackmack
3-3 at end of normal time... bet its a hell of a game to watch in a pub atmosphere
pepper
Well I know this game is doing my nerves in, in a home atmosphere ! Kewell injured again, Alonso injured and Liverpool just not playing good football, but this is really an entertaining game !
Pirulero
3 minutes to go, 2 goals to score, and cisse is crying about a cramp...what a waster...and now the same in extra time...he's such a wimp...stupid boots too, did anyone notice the changed colour at halftime?
Topsy
I don't care about his boots. He can wear whatever colour boots he likes if he stops beating up his wife. grrrrrr.
Topsy
bleedin liverpool
lucky sods

*logs off, turns off telly and goes back to work in bad mood*

Penalties will always cause that kind of reaction in 50% of those watching who actually care who wins. But since I couldn't have given a toss who "won" I have to say that although Liverpool's performance was patchy the result was fair enough in the end.
OhFFS
What a fantastic match. Absolutely brilliant.

An advertisement for football.
