Maxifirmenlauf - inter-firm marathon run

This is a pretty boring post, but I imagine quite a few of you ran yesterday.

I was impressed (as always in Germany) by the organization effort for an event of that scale, but I was a little disappointed that the running fashions weren't as terrible as I thought they might be. Still - pretty cool event, pretty impressive turnout.

I ran too. like last year, I lined up very late and didn't have a chance to get into the "faster" group (which was also full of walkers as I was told). anyhow the race was rather a stop and go and slalom inbetween the walkers, so for next time I hope to be early enough and then I might be able to really run :-)

I think they should rather organize it as a road race, get leopold strasse closed, there would be much more space.

... it was fun nevertheless. feels great to arrive in Olympiastadium with lots of people cheering!
