Hey peeps! I am using a thumb drive and just transfered some songs on it from a PC to a Mac and now the PC keeps thinking the thumb drive is full. Is there any way to empty it? I mean, I already dragged everything out of the folder. Can it be that itunes 'locked' it because of the songs? It worked fine with documents, I took it back and forth 2 times before this happened.
Any help would be appreciated!!

Okay, both machines think that there is 117 MB of stuff on it, but 0 items??? what is going on???
I dont know what a thumb drive is, but try emptying the recycle bin. You might have to do it on both the pc and the mac, as they probably store "deleted" files differently.

yep. just make sure you knwo exactly what you are doing. If it is just a USB memory stick, windows can fornat it. If is a combi memory stick/mp3 player, you may need to use the software delivered with the stick.

Have you read the user manual and/or checked the
support site?
does the mac still have separate resource and data forks? The 117 megs are probably hidden files or something, or another partition type.
